Department of Residential Life & Student Activities

The Department of Residential Life and Student Activities supports the Academy’s academic mission by fostering a welcoming living and learning environment through a holistic approach to education. We aim to instill a culture of diverse and caring interactions, empowering students, and preparing them to be responsible members of the global community.

The Residential Life and Student Activities team assists Maine Maritime Academy’s student population in various capacities including building a sense of community through residence hall programming, enforcing Academy policies, acting as a liaison with our Public Works team, sponsoring campus-wide events, planning off-campus excursions and overseeing student clubs & organizations. Our professional staff is comprised of a Dean of Student Services, a Director of Residential Life & Student Activities, an Assistant Director of Residential Life, and an Assistant Director of Student Activities. Our paraprofessional staff is comprised of Resident Assistants, Desk Assistants, and Campus Activities Board members.

Residential Life and Student Activities offices are located on the first floor of Curtis Hall.
